Every day, we work, study, and strive to make a difference — all with the hope of enjoying a warm cup of coffee while spreading joy. This spirit inspired the founding of Lapan Kopi in 2024 in Palembang, Indonesia. In a quiet town, our first 24-hour café served world-class beans selected with care.

The name Lapan comes from local Palembang culture — also resembling the number 8, symbolizing infinity: a philosophy of continuity and resilience. Our logo unites the sun, mountains, and coffee beans — a symbiosis between nature and humanity.

Lapan Coffee is more than a café. It’s a third home for our guests, a mission to support local farmers, and a living story of community and inspiration.
